Strict Anti-Fraud & Local Pickup Verification
To protect our business and consumers from fraudulent transactions and chargeback scams, the following conditions apply strictly to all In-Store / Local Pickup orders:
- Geographic Restrictions: We reserve the right to restrict pickup ordering options to specific local postal codes.
- Identity Verification: Upon collection of any order, the person picking up the goods must display a valid, physical, government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s Licence) that perfectly matches the name on the order and the billing credit card.
- Signature Required: Goods will not be released without a physical signature on our collection receipt. This signature serves as binding proof that the authorised cardholder has successfully received the items in good condition.
- Abandonment Policy: Orders must be collected within7 days of fulfilment notification. Uncollected orders will be cancelled and refunded, and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
4. Liabilities and Responsibilities of Our Business
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Kay's Meats provides this website and store on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not guarantee that our store will always be secure, uninterrupted, or free from delays or errors.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, the inability to use our store, or fraudulent third-party activity (including unauthorised card use).
